Something needs to be done about soviet early game in team games that does not effect 1v1 too much. This is fine in 1v1 as you cap the map first, but in other modes the first minutes are so important and soviets are an absolute pushover. You have weaker units and at terrible timings. Standing lategame with a 76mm Tank against Panthers is one thing, but at this point there are many many ways to outplay and use macro skills, in the early game youĪre fighting a numbers game and you can never win a infantry fight against OKW and you can never win a support weapon fight against OST, if that player is remotely on my level Yes you might still win 45% of the time if you somehow survive to get to the lategame but this match quality is just not acceptable. Playing Brits or switching to OST or OKW is turning down the difficulty 2 levels, its like a different game, and I am a solid player, my average soviet team mates, oh my. Its just not acceptable to be forced to play these horrible matchups where you are at a insane disadvantage every match. Losing this on both sides means you will have either a extreme struggle or unwinnable game. Early game and the fight on the key point (usually fuel) is extremely important in team games. Early game for means control over the key point and stabilizing your position. If you spawn double soviet, you might as well leave the game, or you settle for a insanely frustrating grind against a 20% winrate matchup for your early game map control. This overall winrate chart looks already really bad but this does only show overall match winrate, while the early game is much more one sided.
